
JJC Group earns the second star in the Peru Carbon Footprint Program for its greenhouse gas emissions management
Lima, July 2026. As part of its commitment to sustainability and the responsible management of its operations, Grupo JJC has received the Huella de Carbono Perú – Level 2 recognition for the 2024 period, awarded by Peru’s Ministry of the Environment (MINAM). This recognition certifies that the organization calculated and verified its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, a fundamental step toward managing its environmental impact and strengthening decision-making aimed at reducing emissions.
The achievement of this second star reflects the coordinated efforts of the organization’s various offices and projects, as well as the commitment and participation of its employees, who contributed to the collection, management, and validation of the information required to calculate and verify emissions.
In this regard, David Michelon Dos Santos, SSOMAC Manager at Grupo JJC, highlighted:
